Multiplayer football hit Rematch is moving from the pitch to players’ shelves this November. In a new press release, developer Slocap announced that the sports title is officially getting a physical edition on November 14, 2025, just before many American shoppers begin their holiday shopping.
The upcoming release, called Rematch: Elite Edition, will offer all Season 1 content as well as cross-platform support. Rematch players have long requested the latter, but devs deferred implementation due to “a major matchmaking issue.” The game’s physical version will reportedly retail in the U.S. for around $40.
U&I Entertainment will distribute Rematch: Elite Edition throughout North America, South America, and Japan, while Bandai Namco Entertainment’s Europe- and Asia-based branches will do so in their respective regions.
Rematch: Elite Edition comes with the base game as well as:
- Two Captain Pass Upgrade Tickets
- This allows players to upgrade their Free Pass to the Captain Pass, giving access to premium rewards, including new hairstyles, shoes and clothing patterns.
- Blazon Player Background and Title
- Make a statement when players see your name with this design.
- Blazon Jewel Set
- Show off your bling on the field with this set that includes rings, bracelets, earrings and a necklace.
- Blazon Buckler Tank Top
- A classic tank top with blazon elegance, crafted for those who show strength in every match on the field.
- Glitcher Trainers
- Step into the future with every stride of these stylish shoes that glow purple as you sprint toward shooting your next goal.
- Blazon Augmented Reality Cage
- Bring each match to life with a vibrant blazon display that celebrates every goal.
- Digital Blazon Cap
- Declare your status, identity and conviction with the flashy blazon design.

About the Latest Rematch Patch
Slocap developers released the game’s latest patch, Patch 1.200.300, on September 5, and while its implementation brought additional bug fixes and game-balancing improvements, Crossplay is the patch’s most notable component. The devs’ breakdown lays out precisely what the new feature means for players:
“To be clear, Crossplay means:
-
- cross-platform matchmaking (playing with and against players from other platforms),
- cross-platform social features (inviting and playing with friends from other platforms).
“There are no plans to implement cross-platform progression at this time, meaning that your progress on one platform will not carry over to another. You will be able to toggle crossplay as you wish, though we encourage you to keep it enabled in order to get faster matchmaking queues!”
Players can also access new in-game reporting features, but according to the update, developers are no longer accepting reports submitted via email or official Discord. “When you report someone, you will be able to pick a reason for the report, and it will be stored in our backend, from which we will be able to take action against the most egregious offenders,” the update says.
