Popular slot-machine roguelike CloverPit has finally landed on mobile devices. The cult hit, developed by Italian studio Panik Arcade and published by Future Friends Games, first landed on Steam on September 26 and sold more than 1 million units in its first 10 weeks. In addition to its impressive PC launch, CloverPit quickly climbed Game Pass’s most-played games list after launching on Xbox consoles. CloverPit is kicking off its mobile launch with a reworked touch interface, improved performance, and all post-launch updates, including Hard Mode, balance tweaks, and more.
Much to players’ relief, the folks behind CloverPit promise its mobile adaptation is free of predatory micro-transactions and other unsavory mechanics; fans downloading CloverPit will find “just the full premium game, exactly as it is on PC and Xbox” for $5 on Google Play and iOS App Store.
About ‘CloverPit’

Roguelike CloverPit, often touted as a blend of Balatro and Buckshot Roulette, blends classic roguelite progression with combo-building, slot-machine mechanics, and the anticipatory anxiety of Operation. Stuck in a rusty cell with only a slot machine and an ATM, gamers must pay off their debt at the end of each round or risk falling to their demise. Yes, you read that right — falling. As players progress, they’ll pick up on ways to rig the game in their favor. Manipulate the machine to earn extra coins, trigger prize-winning combos, bend the rules, break the game, and make it out in one piece (hopefully).
Enjoy satisfying meta-progression, multiple endings, and unlockable power-ups, all in a high-stakes escape room-like setting. Push yourself and your luck with more than 150 items and synergies. If you’re a glutton for punishment, dive into the game’s recently introduced Hard Mode, which ups the ante by doubling the deadline’s amount.
‘CloverPit’ Devs

Italian studio Panik Arcade comprises two people, Matteo and Lorenzo. The pair launched their first title, Yellow Taxi Goes Vroom, in April 2024. It’s still holding strong with more than 1,000 ‘Overwhelmingly Positive’ Steam reviews.
Also worth noting? CloverPit is not a slot machine simulator. “Our slot machine is designed to be broken and ultimately overcome,” the two-person dev team said in a press release. “If you’re looking for a real gambling experience, please look elsewhere. Or better yet, don’t look at all. We don’t really like gambling. That’s what the game is about!”
