Grab your cue chalk, because the brand-new billiards roguelike deckbuilder Ultrapool is officially available on PC via Steam, as well as Android and iOS smart devices. Developed by Constellations and LOK Digital developer Icedrop Games and published by U.S.-based studio offbrand games (Demon Bluff, Aethermancer, and more), Ultrapool puts players in an always-open billiards bar staffed by bartenders who’ve already seen it all. Can you still impress them with your trick shots, combos, or upgraded equipment?
Ultrapool‘s creators celebrated the game’s launch with a joyful Steam announcement. “Hey everyone, 🎉It’s finally here!🎉 The big day has finally arrived, and Ultrapool is OUT NOW and available on Steam + mobile!”
In their message, devs reflected a bit on how Ultrapool came to be:
Ultrapool was prototyped after a night of real pool in a seedy bar with friends, and hopefully it embodies that sense of fun and community as much as we want it to. It’s not a profound game, but it is a profound and heartful celebration of accessible silly fun, and hopefully when playing it feels apparent how much fun we’ve had working on it, and how much it matters to us.
This game has been developed with the constant help of our insane, kind, and insanely kind testers, and now we’re gonna have more testers than ever, so hopefully we can keep up and make sure you have fun with Ultrapool, and that you can be proud of supporting our little game.
See you at the pool bar ⚡
About ‘Ultrapool’

Ultrapool is a vibrant pool strategy game featuring effects-packed playable balls, special challenges, and more. Players progress through their skill-building billiards journey while upgrading equipment, employing smart new strategies, mastering mechanics, forging powerful pool ball combos, and surviving 10 rounds. Maybe you’ll impress the otherwise stoic bar staff along the way!
“Once you think you know the game, the cocktail bar opens,” the game’s Steam description teases. “Ask the bartender to mix any two balls and he will serve you something special! Some of these will feel like they should break the game wide open, but you’ll need every edge you can get if you want to pull off an all nighter.”
Ultrapool‘s release date was revealed for the first time last month during offbrand games’ and Open Sauce’s Secret Sauce Showcase 2026, a weeklong event that “celebrate[s] all things indie gaming” by way of trailers, surprising announcements, world premieres, and discounts.
Pool-players should prepare for some post-launch perks, too. Ultrapool is available on PC via Steam now for just $9.59, a 20 percent launch-day markdown that runs through Monday, September 7; the game will return to its original retail price of $11.99 in two weeks.
Steam users can get even deeper discounts with a Complete the Set deal. If you already own other high-stakes roguelite strategy titles like Dice A Million, Slots & Daggers, and Die in the Dungeon, you’ll be able to get Ultrapool for around $8. SCORE!
iOS and Android users can pick up Ultrapool via their respective app stores. Ultrapool is available on the Apple App Store and Google Play at no cost, though the download contains in-app purchases.
