Japanese video game company Capcom announced it will hold a 40-minute livestream presentation this month.
The brand confirmed its Capcom Spotlight event via its X account (formerly Twitter). “Join us on Thursday, June 26, 3pm PT for a 40-minute Capcom Spotlight livestream! Get our latest news and extended commentary with developer interviews,” the post reads. Capcom continues, saying the live stream will feature its recently revealed Resident Evil Requiem as well as Monster Hunter Wilds, Street Fighter 6, and upcoming sci-fi title Pragmata.
The post contains a bite-sized teaser as well as date and time confirmation. Capcom fans can tune into the showcase on June 26, 2025, at 3 p.m. PT/6 p.m. ET.
Pragmata, Capcom’s brand-new IP, recently got a gameplay trailer and a 2026 release window after continued delays. The sci-fi game, initially slated for release in 2022, was indefinitely postponed in 2023. The IP re-emerged during Sony’s State of Play earlier this month.
Resident Evil Requiem, teased earlier this month at Summer Game Fest, is the franchise’s ninth mainline entry following the 2021 release of Resident Evil Village. Players will assume the role of FBI agent Grace Ashcroft as she uncovers the mystery behind some mysterious deaths at a hotel. Fans of the franchise can expect Requiem on February 27, 2026.
Both Pragmata and Requiem utilize Capcom-created Reach for the Moon Engine, or RE Engine.
