The (usually) annual Triple-i Initiative showcase returned Thursday for an encore. The digital broadcast from independent game maker Evil Empire Studio kicked off at noon EDT, bringing a bunch of brand-new indie games into the spotlight.
The Triple-i Initiative’s name plays on “triple-A” games with an indie twist, as the organization exclusively features projects from independent game devs.
The organization also proudly says its showcase includes “just games,” with no ads or emcees. Just the meat and potatoes — I like it.
“We’re simply a bunch of studios banding together to share exciting news to [sic] our players, in a short show packed with back-to-back trailers,” the organization says. “That’s it – no extra fluff, no ads, no host, just games. We’re talking world premieres, exclusive gameplay, launch dates, demo drops and more!”
The event’s colossal sponsor list includes brands like Epic Games, Bilibili, Discord, and many more.
Don’t worry, you can always watch the hour-long showcase on the Triple-i Initiative YouTube channel. Join nearly 233,000 subscribers by following the organization. Visit Triple-i Initiative and Evil Empire‘s websites for more information and links to the orgs’ social media profiles.
