GIANTS Software, the studio behind agricultural sim Farming Simulator 25, is celebrating a bountiful harvest. Since its launch one year ago, Farming Simulator 25 has sold 4 million copies worldwide. The independent developer-publisher announced the game’s latest sales milestone in a post on its website before touching on the new Year 2 content for would-be farmers. “It’s not the sales number itself, but the enormous engagement and the overwhelmingly positive feedback we received from our community following the conclusion of Year 1,” says GIANTS Software CSO and Head of Publishing Boris Stefan. “We’re grateful for our fans and four Million farmers and do not take this success for granted.”
The game’s official X account (formerly Twitter) shared a celebratory post on Tuesday. “The FS25 Year 2 Season Pass is here! 🎉 Get an instant bonus: the JCB WFT, the world’s fastest tractor. Unlock it now, save on new packs and a major expansion, and start your new season! 🚜” The studio peppered its post with farm equipment emojis before linking readers to the Farming Simulator 25 Year 2 Season Pass trailer.

Players will be able to pick up the first two packs in Q1 and Q2 2026, while the year’s fourth quarter is reserved for “another major expansion,” says GIANTS, “following the recent Highlands Fishing” pack. The latter brought a Scotland-inspired Highlands stage, nearly two dozen new machines, and novel gameplay mechanics. “A bonus machine is ready to claim instantly,” the studio’s release days, “the JCB WFT – the world’s fastest tractor.”
According to the studio’s news release, players can expect “a variety of free content is already in production and expected to be released throughout 2026” in addition to the forthcoming Year 2 Season Pass. GIANTS will continue releasing free content updates and user-generated content on the game’s official ModHub.
