On Monday, Nintendo of America (NOA) confirmed its recently teased Splatoon Raiders Direct Presentation will air on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at 7 a.m. PT/10 a.m. ET/3 p.m. BST. The brand’s Splatoon Raiders-focused livestream was first teased in Nintendo’s June 9 Direct.
Audiences can also expect a Splatoon-centered Nintendo Treehouse broadcast to immediately follow tomorrow’s Direct; the half-hour Treehouse segment will feature gameplay footage and commentary.
Nintendo confirmed the Direct’s date and time via its Nintendo Today! smart-device application — a branded calendar widget and first-party news app — the same medium the company utilized to announce Splatoon Raiders itself last summer. “Tune in on June 30 at 7:00 a.m. PT for a livestreamed Splatoon Raiders Direct 6.30.2026 presentation,” reads Nintendo’s related in-app notification. “The presentation will last approximately 15 minutes.”
NOA also published presentation confirmation in a post on X (formerly Twitter) , which, at the time of writing, has been viewed nearly 200,000 times.
About Splatoon, Nintendo’s competitive and colorful shooter

Nintendo first introduced its Splatoon IP during an E3 (RIP) Digital Event presentation in 2014, and launched the game on Wii U in May 2015 to critical acclaim. Nintendo shared a bit about the series’ sequel, Splatoon 2, for the first time during the Nintendo Switch reveal trailer, and later released the 3D shooter in July 2017. Splatoon 3 hit shelves and the Nintendo eShop in September 2022.
Nintendo also released premium downloadable content for Splatoon 2 and Splatoon 3 in 2018 and 2024, respectively.
Splatoon is a competitive series; the franchise’s first few games feature 4v4 showdowns requiring humanoid shooters to cover as much area as possible with their color-coded ink. (Mechanically reminiscent of Mario Sunshine at times, but if you ask me, that’s a positive)
Raiders goes a different route, gameplay shifting from no-holds-barred competitive ink-slinging to a single-player PvE adventure that also supports up to four players in online or local wireless co-op. Players lead the Deep Cut trio — Shiver, Frye, and Big Man — on a treasure hunt across the sprawling Spirhalite Islands while engaging with slick gadgets and avoiding Salmonoids all the while.
Catch Nintendo of America’s new Splatoon Raiders Direct presentation on YouTube tomorrow (Tuesday), June 30, when it airs in your time zone. The quirky shooter sequel will exclusively release on Nintendo Switch 2 handhelds on July 23, 2026. Collectors and serious Splatoon fans can find all-new Amiibo featuring the Deep Cut trio as seen in Splatoon Raiders when it releases alongside the game on July 23.
