Sony Entertainment Interactive (SIE) has confirmed an all-new PlayStation State of Play Japan livestream will air tomorrow (Tuesday, November 11), exclusively showcasing PS5 games from the region. The multinational consumer tech brand revealed the showcase in a new post on X (formerly Twitter). According to the official PlayStation account on X, players in the U.S. can catch the broadcast at 2 p.m. PT/5 p.m. ET. “Tune in Tuesday at 2pm PT | 5pm ET for State of Play Japan, a special broadcast curated for gamers in Japan and Asia. This episode is broadcast in Japanese with English subtitles,” the post reads. PlayStation’s X post has been viewed nearly 1 million times in less than four hours.

This event will deviate from past presentations; tomorrow’s State of Play Japan will feature a designated host. Yuki Kaji, a voice actor best known in the U.S. for his work on Attack on Titan and JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, will serve as the emcee for the Sony showcase.

Showcase Expectations

Sony stays relatively mum in its related news release, but fans and industry experts have already begun to speculate. In the next 24 hours, you’ll likely catch references to Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls and Phantom Blade Zero. Fans might also get a closer look at Resident Evil Requiem and Onimusha: War of the Blade, too, as Capcom is commonly featured in Sony’s livestreams.
