On Tuesday, Sony Electronics introduced its newest INZONE gaming gear. The all-new peripherals are the latest hardware to join the brand’s INZONE lineup, a gamer-focused label Sony first launched in 2022.
The line’s existing audio equipment and monitors will now retail alongside new over-the-ear headsets, gaming mouse, mousepads, and the first INZONE gaming keyboard, created in collaboration with esports team Fnatic. The latest options comprise Sony INZONE’s first real foray into PC peripherals. The brand laid out the nitty-gritty in a press release.
The good news? They’re already available for preorder. The bad news? These prices are something.
Sony INZONE H9 II

Price: $349.99 (via Sony’s Amazon storefront)
The original Sony H9 Wireless is the blueprint, and the new H9 II knows it. The new iteration is a refreshed follow-up to the earlier model and will be available to consumers in black and white.
Using the same driver as Sony’s critically lauded WH-1000XM6 headphones, the H9 II’s full-spectrum clarity means those in-game footsteps or creepy deep rumbles from the backrooms unsettle like never before. That super-wide band mirrors that of comfort-forward headsets on the market, so here’s hoping it makes that annoying “headset dent” less noticeable. The Sony INZONE H9 II boasts 30 hours of battery life and comes with a soft pouch for safe transport.
That price tag, however, will surely be a tough pill to swallow for budget-conscious PC gamers, especially as more affordable alternatives flood the market.
Sony INZONE E9 (Wired)

Price: $149.99 (via Sony’s Amazon storefront)
According to Sony, these wired earbuds are the brand’s first to be “fully enclosed,” a design element the brand says helps listeners pick up subtle in-game sounds that would otherwise get lost.
The E9 earbuds support virtual 7.1 surround sound and Sony 360 spatial sound. Like the H9 II’s, each pair of earbuds comes with a carrying case, but these also get alternate ear tips and a USB-C audio box.
The E9 earbuds can connect via 3.5mm audio to, well, just about anything, but be warned: the Sony INZONE Hub only works on PC. You won’t get the same customization capabilities on other devices as you would on your gaming computer.
Sony INZONE KBD-H75 Gaming Keyboard (Wired)

Price: $299.99 (via Sony’s Amazon storefront)
The INZONE KBD-H75 is Sony’s first gaming keyboard. Cool.
It’s $300. Not cool.
While I’m excited to see some slick new PC peripherals hit the market, everyday gamers are pinching pennies more now than ever. Other peripheral manufacturers — other legacy brands included — offer comparable hardware at a comparatively steep discount.
Sony INZONE Mouse-A Lightweight Wireless Gaming Mouse

Price: $149.99 (via Sony’s Amazon storefront)
Believe it or not, the Mouse-A is Sony’s very first wireless gaming mouse. The device is remarkably lightweight — just 48 grams — and boasts a purported 90-hour battery life. The mouse is “built for optimal control and stability,” Sony’s retail listing reads. “Its contoured design supports high-speed maneuvers and repeat clicks, empowering focused play and minimal strain across competitive sessions.”
As a woman with smaller hands, this piques my interest. I’m partial to my Logitech G705, an 85-gram mouse specifically designed with small hands in mind. The INZONE Mouse-A weighs half of what this thing does? If that’s the case, the Mouse-A must feel like you’re holding nothing. I’m interested, but I’d have to give it a whirl before I shelled out $150 (I picked up my G705 for about $90-$100 from my local Micro Center).
Sony INZONE Mat-D and Sony INZONE Mat-F

INZONE Mat-D (left): $34.99 (via Sony’s Amazon storefront)
INZONE Mat-F (right): $59.99 (via Sony’s Amazon storefront)
Naturally, Sony is shipping some mats alongside its new mouse and keyboard. The Sony IZONE Mat-D, shown left, is a thinner option (4mm) than its counterpart (6mm). These are traditional mousepads, not the sprawling desk mats that’ve become the standard for PC gaming, so be sure to quadruple-check measurements before adding to your cart. That being said, a $60 mousepad? In this economy?!
