Halloween is right around the corner, but as costs of candy, costumes, movie tickets, and decorations continue to rise, the season feels a little different for some families. As many Americans look for wiggle room in already-tight budgets, PC gamers are getting some seasonal relief. Digital game platform Steam has kicked off Steam Scream Fest IV, its fourth-annual spooky game event. Steam Scream Fest IV, scheduled through November 3 at 10 a.m. PT, gives gamers access to dark, creepy, spooky, or otherwise seasonally-appropriate downloads at deep discounts. Sorting through hundreds of games to find a deal is a little daunting, though, so Outrun Gaming did the hard part for you. We’ve picked our favorite horror games available as part of Steam Scream Fest IV, each pick different from the last. The best part? Every horror game here is available on Steam for $10 or less. Happy haunting!
