The biggest video game releases of February 2026

One month down, 11 to go! For those of us still digging ourselves out of the snow, last month felt like the January-est January ever. The start of the year usually brings gloomy gray skies, sub-zero temps, and high heat bills — none of which top my list of “things to look forward to.” But do you know what does? February’s 28-day game release calendar! For gamers, the year’s shortest month could be among its biggest. Move over, Valentine’s Day — the exciting launches of remastered role-playing games from beloved studios like SEGA and Nintendo, as well as long-teased new entries to survival horror franchises, make this month one for the memory books.
