Viral VR game ‘Sushi Ben’ now available on PC

ORDER UP! Sushi Ben, the viral indie hit from the creator of Hatoful Boyfriend, is finally available to PC players. The game first hit Quest VR hardware in 2023 and PS VR2 in 2024, but the all-new PC version is playable in both VR and non-VR modes. In a new press release from Big Brane Studios Inc., the team explains what fans can expect in the new flatscreen PC version.

In the slice-of-life anime game, players work to rescue a struggling sushi spot from predatory landsharks. Explore a dreamy small town and get to know locals in a charming coastal tale from Hatoful Boyfriend creator, Hato Moa. The PC version of Sushi Ben adds more than four hours of minigames and a stacked English voice cast, including Laura Post (Little Witch Academia), Ryan Colt Levy (Chainsaw Man), AJ Beckles (Dandadan), and others.

About Sushi Ben

In Sushi Ben, players arrive in the tiny town of Kotobuki as oppressive, big-city landsharks wield control. Your objective? Get to know your new neighborhood and its residents, forge a sense of community and camaraderie among locals, and ultimately save the sushi bar from the powers that be. Sushi Ben incorporates eye-popping aesthetic elements through vivid manga panels, engaging minigames, countless unique characters, and a breathtaking seaside setting.

Big Brane Studios, Inc., is an international, fully-remote indie studio co-founded by Kane Tyler and Brian Edward Hicks. Sushi Ben, the duo’s debut project, snagged nominations for “Best Immersive Game” and “Best Debut” at Raindance Immersive 2021. Sushi Ben is now available on Steam at a discounted $9.59, but the 20% discount only runs until October 1.
