Roguelike fans, get ready! In ActuGaming’s Spring 2026 French Direct on Wednesday, video game developer-publisher Rebound CG shared a closer look at its upcoming gritty bullet ball-bouncer, Furyball: Rogue Revenge. In this fast-paced “Rogue Beat’em Ball” set in the “sun-scorched citadel of Neo-Arcadia,” players will launch, bounce, ricochet, and ultimately drill down resilient targets to progress through unflinching gangs and challenging stage layouts, all while relying on their aim.
Furyball: Rogue Revenge, inspired by the post-apocalyptic action IP Mad Max, Supergiant’s blockbuster indie Hades, and “American exploitation films” like Quentin Tarantino’s Grindhouse, uses pinball-inspired level design to amp up the difficulty. The stellar disco-punk OST from The Toxic Avenger drives it all home.

ActuGaming’s latest showcase — the very first one dubbed in English! — dedicated 80 minutes to reveals, announcements, and premieres from dozens of France-based studios. Rebound CG’s Furyball: Rogue Revenge was featured among the final titles.
Rebound CG, the studio behind Furyball: Rogue Revenge, was founded in 2017 and is based in Angoulême, the country’s “capital of comics.” The studio, which comprises just 15 creatives, is perhaps best known for the Tennis Manager franchise, says it’s “moving from the serious tone of Tennis Manager into a thrilling action roguelite while staying true to its DNA: a ball, and rebounds.”
