The Media Indie Exchange (or The MIX) announced on Tuesday that its upcoming The MIX Summer Game Showcase will air as part of Summer Game Fest 2026. The organization says its seasonal showcase will “serve as a premier spotlight for independent video games, bringing massive announcements directly to players and media worldwide.” The MIX, an indie games organization created by game devs and fans alike, works to “build relationships with press, publishers, distribution channel & platform leads and industry professionals through a variety of showcases and events.”
The Media Indie Exchange‘s showcase, scheduled for Monday, June 1, will feature over 60 indie games coming to PC and consoles. A hybrid event, the showcase comprises both on-site festivities and a digital broadcast that viewers can easily access from home.

The Media Indie Exchange will join forces with its partners — some of indie gaming’s most prominent publishers and creatives — to deliver a fun-filled showcase featuring a range of genres and art styles.
Planning to check out the MIX’s Summer Game Showcase? According to the organization, viewers can expect never-before-seen indie game announcements, exciting release date reveals, gameplay footage, dev commentary, and updates for indies with active player bases.
“Independent developers continue to push the boundaries of creativity and game design, and the MIX is pursuing its mission of supporting them,” The MIX founder Justin Woodward explained in a news release. “With more than 60 incredible games locked in for this showcase, we are excited to give these studios a global stage to share their hard work, surprise trailers, and major launch milestones directly with the gaming culture.”
