Indie game studio Strange Scaffold (Truck-kun is Supporting Me From Another World?!) announced on Tuesday that its critically acclaimed vigilante FPS, I Am Your Beast, will come to Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 handhelds next month.
Additionally, Strange Scaffold revealed some all-new downloadable content, titled “Quitting Time,” that offers PC players a brand-new narrative to tackle. Console players, hang tight — Strange Scaffold says information regarding the DLC’s console release will come at a later date.
I Am Your Beast: Quitting Time, according to studio Strange Scaffold, is a full-story prequel to its hit first-person shooter, I Am Your Beast. Players head back in time to join fresh-faced protagonist Alphonse Harding, a bright-eyed and bushy-tailed covert agent eager to maintain the status quo and uphold the American military-industrial complex.
Despite his optimism, strong sense of justice, and, frankly, naivete, Harding quickly learns things aren’t what they seem, and the people and systems you trust most may just be your bête noire.
About ‘I Am Your Beast’
First released in June 2024, I Am Your Beast is a fast-paced arcade shooter set in the gritty North American wilderness where players are at odds with the powerful and resourceful military-industrial complex. Each stage, a varied mini-sandbox, offering FPS fans continued novelty and replayability.
As out-of-the-business agent Alphonse Harding, players must mercilessly mow down enemies using, well, anything. Quickly grab hold of whatever you can to wield it. Players can even manipulate their opponents’ own equipment against them. C’mon — when push comes to shove, we push and shove, baby!

I Am Your Beast‘s new “Quitting Time” DLC will feature:
- Fights through a fully voiced prequel campaign featuring 10 brand-new levels;
- An explorable new Southeast Asian biome;
- Speed-focused side quests;
- A new enemy faction, the Patriotic Defense League;
- Shield-throwing intense enough to decapitate your enemies;
- and an original soundtrack from acclaimed Chicago producer Kalibration.

I Am Your Beast is out now on PC via Steam, GOG, and itch.io. Mobile players can join the fun too, with the game’s iOS release via the App Store. Console gamers can find I Am Your Beast on PS5 and XBOX Series X|S now, with Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 coming on October 20, 2026.
