Rip It! Card Collector, a new (and likely habit-forming) sim from Belgian indie developer-publisher Cybernetic Walrus, mirrors the exciting, sensory-rich experience of card-opening.

Grab a pack, make a silent wish, tear it open, see what you’ve pulled, and, hopefully, celebrate! After you’ve cracked your packs, it’s time to organize. Sort and sift through your collection to find duplicates or worthwhile rares and cash ’em in for big bucks. Naturally, use your newfound funds to acquire even more cards. The cycle continues. Nature is healing.
Players have more than 1,800 cards to track down, which will satisfy collectors and sorters alike. Whether you’re arranging your collection just right or readying some sick pulls to sell, Rip It! looks like it’ll scratch the itch and then some.
Even the most skilled one-man band needs backup now and again. In Rip It!, players will need to develop their workstations, upgrade tech, and get new gear to speed things up. “Sell your unwanted dupes and spend the returns on upgrades that will transform your humble desk into a ridiculous card processing monstrosity.”
