Six new game demos on Steam we’re excited about

Video game demos don’t come inside cereal boxes or as DVD menu Easter eggs anymore, but contemporary gamers have access to a frankly incomprehensible number of free playable demos on Steam.

Whether part of the Valve platform’s seasonally scheduled events — its demo-focused Steam Next Fest, for starters — or an independent project’s low-key marketing push, PC players don’t have to look for long to find cutting-edge (and free!!!) game demos.

These irresistible Steam demos have only recently hit the platform, and as it stands, players can expect almost all of these titles to launch before year’s end. Wanna be even further ahead of the curve? Add some of these upcoming releases to your Steam wishlist and download a demo or two.

You’re gonna love ’em, I swear!
