Great job, farmers — GIANTS Software announced on Tuesday that its hit agriculture game, Farming Simulator 25, has officially sold more than 5 million copies since its November 2024 launch. A bountiful harvest!
The studio’s celebratory sales announcement comes just ahead of its arrival at gamescom, the annual global consumer video game expo in Cologne, Germany. At this year’s event, scheduled from August 26 through August 30, GIANTS Software says it will offer exciting interactive stage shows and hands-on looks at the game’s upcoming Beans & Alpacas content expansion.
“Wow! It’s remarkable to see so many new farmers joining our community,” GIANTS Software CSO and Publishing Head, Boris Stefan, appreciatively shared in a news release. “We’re incredibly proud of how quickly it continues to grow, and grateful for the enthusiasm from our fans and newfound farmers. Beans & Alpacas is already falling on fertile ground, and we’re looking forward to seeing everyone cultivate the red soils of South America when the expansion arrives.”
Bananas coming to ‘Farming Simulator 25’ upcoming Beans & Alpacas expansion

This game is bananas, B-A-N-A-N-A-S!
Farming Simulator 25 is introducing bananas as part of its Beans & Alpacas expansion, an addition that comes alongside a brand-new in-game cultivation system. Tend to your virtual nanner plot by creating your property, setting up an effective and efficient rail system, strategically incorporating processing stations, and more.
Beans & Alpacas also brings fungicides to the mix. Players can utilize these powerful chemicals when plant diseases infect your crops. Catuaí, the new map coming as part of the expansion, will allow players to plant and harvest bananas year-round.
Players can harvest their bananas manually with a quick machete slash. From there, farmers will hang their produce from rails to begin cleansing and shipping processes. Expedite your fruit harvesting by hiring workers who automate the process.

GIANTS Software says it will also continue to release free content updates and user-generated content on the official ModHub.
