Nintendo’s dual Direct announcement last week has (unsurprisingly) fueled intense fan speculation regarding potentially unannounced projects, and I’ll be honest: it’s been hard to rein in my “what ifs” after yesterday’s jaw-dropping The Legend of Zelda-focused presentation set the bar.
Today’s presentation kicked off at around 10 a.m. ET/7 a.m. PT, and emcee Yoshiaki Koizumi led viewers through a 45-minute presentation packed with first- and third-party projects from myriad studios and genres.
Nintendo’s Direct rolled right into a new Treehouse Live, which, at the time of writing, is ongoing. If you’re able, pop into the chat and check out some gameplay footage.

Monster Hunter Wilds

Mario Kart World – Free update

007 First Light
One of the year’s best games is finally coming to Nintendo Switch 2. 007 First Light is the best release the Bond franchise has seen since Skyfall, and now it’s finally coming to Nintendo’s console.
Stellar Blade Complete Edition
Stellar Blade Complete Edition will be making its way to the Nintendo Switch 2 system on November 5, bringing with it some NieR: Automata and GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE collaboration content and eye-popping Bayonetta costumes. Switch 2 owners will get a chance to dive into the game’s stylish combat this holiday season.
Nintendo Switch Sports Resort
Matt? Wuhu Island? What year is it?! Chase dolphins in the ocean, sightsee, and explore when Nintendo Switch Sports Resort launches exclusively for Nintendo Switch 2 on Oct. 22. Pre-orders are available now on Nintendo eShop.
Persona 4 Revival
It’s hard to believe that the long-awaited Persona 4 remake, Persona 4 Revival, is finally here. We were treated to a brand-new trailer ahead of its Nintendo Switch 2 release date of May 20, 2027.
Persona 6
We knew Persona 4 Revival was coming to Nintendo Switch 2, but Persona 6 being a same-day release on other platforms was a pleasant surprise. While details are still scarce, the next entry in the popular JRPG franchise is set to release in 2027.
Kirby and the World Beyond
As part of Kirby’s 35th Anniversary, everyone’s favorite pink puffball is embarking on an all-new open-world adventure where Kirby will…seek the world beyond. Yes, we got Truman Show vibes. Yes, we cannot wait. Kirby and the World Beyond launches sometime in Spring 2027. The presentation also very briefly mentioned the Kirby franchise’s 35th anniversary, suggesting more is coming in the future.
