Rockstar Games and Atlantic Records announced Grand Theft Auto: The Album, a 34-track record featuring all-new songs from some of the world’s most prominent, well-known, and in some cases, controversial artists.
Game studio Rockstar shared promo art bearing the upcoming sequel’s now-recognizable cotton candy color palette alongside its social media album announcement. “Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album Coming November 19,” the post starts. “Featuring 34 original tracks that capture the electric energy of Vice City and Leonida, from a genre-defying artist roster.”
Players can “[l]isten to the first six singles today, and pre-order on vinyl and — get this — CD (!!!) now by visiting the official Grand Theft Auto VI album website. Digital listeners can pre-save the album on their preferred listening medium, whether Spotify, Apple Music, or another service.
Rockstar Games announces first few tracks on ‘Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album’
Six new tracks from the upcoming record were released alongside Rockstar’s announcement on Thursday, and if this sample is representative of what’s to come, then players will have a lot to listen to (and a lot to talk about).
These six singles are out now on music streaming services:

- RHYNO → Travis Scott
- Sexy Magic → CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso, Pink Pantheress, Fred again.., Etienne de Crécy

Rockstar planning multiple ‘GTA 6’ physical album releases
Rockstar will release multiple physical versions of the record, according to the official Grand Theft Auto VI album website, all of which will reportedly ship in late November.
A standard vinyl pre-order, which includes “two transparent magenta discs with blue splatter,” will cost U.S. listeners $49.98.
Listeners can pre-order the Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album – Limited-Edition Vinyl on the official album website for $124.98. The limited-run record features dreamy new artwork, with 80s-inspired pinks and blues that capture the series’ iconic style. The release comes with “two transparent magenta discs filled with blue liquid.”
Best Buy is offering a store-exclusive version of the vinyl for $49.98, its iteration featuring a translucent pink record with purple spatter and a 12×24 poster available exclusively with Best Buy’s vinyl.
I love shopping local when I can, so the addition of an “Indie Exclusive” vinyl scratches that itch. Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album – Indie Exclusive Edition is available for pre-order via fans’ local record retailers, and they can utilize the official Record Store Day website to find which area retailers have the pre-order on offer. Interestingly, the website says this version will release on November 19, in contrast to most other physical releases’ November 20 launch date.
The Blood Records vinyl, like the other releases, bears a distinct, spatter-inspired pattern throughout. This one, like Best Buy’s, also includes an exclusive 12×24 poster. Based on promo images and packshots, the stores’ posters will be different.
Despite myriad physical options for audiophiles, gamers won’t see the same treatment. Players can buy a “physical” version of Grand Theft Auto VI for PS5, but according to Rockstar, “[p]hysical versions will only contain a download code inside the box to support pre-load on November 12. A disc will not be included in the box.”
Grand Theft Auto VI is expected to launch on PlayStation 5 and XBOX Series X|S consoles on November 19, 2026, and will retail for $80.
