Felines everywhere, rejoice! Anti-corporate, anti-AI workplace adventure Cat Secretary officially has a launch date. According to a news release from studio Good Story Guild, the cozy, star-studded title will claw its way onto PC via Steam on November 4, 2026.
In Cat Secretary, players โ or cats, rather โ are hired on as megacorporation DOXโs first feline employee. As the latest hire, you’ll endure annoying onboarding tasks, hostile water-cooler convos, and other torturous workplace tedium. Sneak, sleuth, swat, and snack to your little heart’s content.
Purr-use the office long enough, though, and you’ll overhear frustrated workers lament company leadership and skewer its efforts to replace human workers with artificial intelligence-powered robots. YUCK!
Shareholders? Infinite economic growth? Generative AI? I’ll pass on all three, personally, and it seems DOX’s four-legged new hire will, too.
Can the company kitty-cat covertly work with colleagues to cull unsavory C-suite strategies? Try your hand (paw) at short-‘n’-sweet minigames, quirky talks with teammates, endless office exploration, and more, all as part of your unconventional new workload.
Cat Secretary‘s poignant, approachable anticapitalist narrative is made even more captivating by the game’s absolutely stacked VA cast. This past June, Good Story Guild announced it had cast Cat Secretary following an appearance and an open VA casting call at PAX East earlier this year.
Stars featured in Cat Secretary include Baldur’s Gate 3‘s Samantha Bรฉart, Dead as Disco‘s Caitlin Brockell, and Game of Thrones‘ Neill Fleming.
After pouncing around in the endearingly human PAX East demo myself, Cat Secretary quickly became a personal show fave.
