Don’t miss out on these new Xbox Game Pass additions this month

Another day, another dollar. Or, in the case of the newest Xbox Game Pass additions, another month, another slate of games.

In total, nine new games are joining the Xbox Game Pass library, featuring some 2025 Game of the Year contenders, an all-time classic JRPG, and one of the best redemption stories in all of gaming.

Recently, the discourse surrounding Xbox Game Pass has shifted from “the best deal in gaming” to possibly overpriced. It’s all part of the complicated legacy Phil Spencer has left at Xbox following his departure. Now, I’m not here to say that Xbox Game Pass is still worth the money; that price hike is still a tough pill to swallow. I will admit, though, that this month’s first batch of games all appear to be excellent.

Don’t forget that Diablo II: Resurrected was added last month on February 11th, along with the Lord of Destruction expansion.

Let’s not waste anytime and get right to it!

Final Fantasy III

Available today on Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, and PC through Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium, and PC Game Pass

Despite first releasing in Japan in 1990, Final Fantasy III didn’t make its way to Western audiences until its 2006 3D remake on the Nintendo DS.

It was part of the recent Pixel Remaster in 2021, allowing players to experience its original art style and aesthetics in high definition.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance II

Available today on Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, and PC through Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium, and PC Game Pass.

If it wasn’t for Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, Kingdom Come: Deliverance II may have been the best RPG of 2025.

It’s an excellent action RPG that fully immerses players in its medieval setting, delivering one of the most authentic experiences you’ll ever find. It’s a clear headliner for March’s newest Xbox Game Pass additions. Best of all, it’s available right now!

One of my favorite Game Pass “traditions” is the release of a sports game a year after its launch. That’s the case here with EA Sports F1 25, one of 2025’s best racing games.

Game Pass Ultimate subscribers who play with EA Play can earn this month’s 5,000 XP Boost, available until March 31st.

Planet of Lana II: Children of the Leaf

Cyberpunk 2077

Coming to Cloud and Console on March 10th for Game Pass Ultimate and Game Pass Premium subscribers.

One of the biggest comeback stories in all of gaming, Cyberpunk 2077 finally lived up to the hype after some substantial updates from developer CD PROJEKT RED.

It’s without a doubt one of the best RPGs of this generation, and it’s coming to Game Pass later this month. Sadly, it’s only for console subscribers; PC Game Pass members are left out for now.

Hollow Knight: Silksong

Currently available on Game Pass Premium, Ultimate and PC Game Pass members will finally see what all the hype was about last year.

Hollow Knight: Silksong delivers as a worthy sequel, even if it’s a little too hard at times.

The newest Xbox Game Pass additions aren’t always about new games. Call of Duty: Warzone is bringing the Black Ops Royale update to Cloud, Console, and PC gamers on March 13th.

This is a new free mode inspired by Blackout and serves as a reimagined version of Call of Duty: Warzone, set on the Avalon map. Players begin each match on the same footing: no loadouts or buy stations. Just you, your pistols, and your grit and determination.

Console and PC players for Call of Duty: Warzone will also get access to Game Pass Pack 5 as part of March’s newest additions for Xbox Game Pass:

  • Operator Skin
  • 4x Weapon Blueprints
  • 2x Weapon Charms
  • Finishing Move
  • Emblem
  • 2x Weapon Sticker
  • Spray
  • 2XP Token (1 hour)
