Hit sticker store-sim Sticky Business is getting its sea legs! On Thursday, indie developer Spellgarden Games and publisher Assemble Entertainment announced splashy new DLC, “Seaside Tales.” The reveal comes as part of Steam’s World Ocean Day event, led by marine mammal-focused charity Whale and Dolphin Conservation (WDC).
“Seaside Tales” takes sticker-slingers to the beach, where they’ll create oceanic new stickers using countless nautical design assets, and follow 10 new customer narratives through “charming coastal towns, old-fashioned beach holidays, surf competitions, cozy seaside cafés, scout camp outings, over-the-top pirate conventions, and even mysterious lighthouse romances.”
Already dreaming up some nautical new designs? Bring ’em to life with:
- 113 stickers with 39 color variants;
- eight new goodies;
- six glitter papers;
- 10 character portraits;
- and eight final pictures.

About ‘Sticky Business’
Base game Sticky Business released back in 2023, and it’s been stickin’ and kickin’ since. The popular pixel-art shopkeeper sim marries cozy, low-stress sticker creation with the more strategic, managerial elements of business simulators. Players start their new, adhesive adventure by slowly connecting with clients, drawing (and sometimes scrapping) designs, and expanding your new small biz. Get acclimated, start designing, nail your first few customer requests, and become a solo sticker-makin’ machine. Shark Tank who?!
Developer Spellgarden Games, a queer, female-led indie game studio with crew members based in both Germany and Scotland, was established in 2022. In the four years since, the studio has nailed down its cozy pixel-art niche with indie hits Sticky Business, Ritual of Raven, and the resale shop sim Thrifty Business.
