PowerWash Simulator 2 studio FuturLab and global toy brand Mattel have joined forces to announce the PowerWash Simulator 2 Barbie Pack, a premium — and very, very pink — DLC pack that brings the world of Barbie to digital pressure-washing. And honestly? I’m feeling seen.
The new downloadable content, launching later this year, adds some serious sparkle to your one-man cleaning biz, along with the Barbie brand’s glamour and style, vivid colors, and fun-for-everyone vibe.
“Barbie is a brand that means something different to almost everyone,” FuturLab CEO Kirsty Rigden explained in a news release, “whether that’s childhood memories of playing with the toys, or simply an appreciation for the colour, creativity and imagination that Barbie represents.”
“That made this such an exciting collaboration for us. The team has had a huge amount of fun bringing the world of Barbie into PowerWash Simulator 2 and putting our own powerwashing spin on it.”
Powerwashers will be able to hose down a ton of new Barbie-inspired properties, including the darling Dream Camper and iconic Dreamhouse.
Barbie Pack buyers will also be able to dress their playable character with new Barbie-inspired in-game cosmetics. With the help of a custom Barbie power-washer and coordinated accessories, the hard-to-get grime and grit stand no chance.
“Barbie has always inspired fans to imagine endless possibilities, and we’re always looking for fresh, interactive ways to bring that spirit to life,” said Mattel’s Licensed Game Head, Erika Winterholler.
“Partnering with FuturLab to bring Barbie into PowerWash Simulator 2 is a fun new way for fans to experience the brand – proving there’s no limit to where Barbie’s next adventure can take her.”
