The Media Indie Exchange (MIX) has announced the broadcast date for its seasonal indie game showcase. The MIX Fall Game Showcase 2026 will stream live on Friday, October 16, and feature a fully curated selection of indie games from developers and publishers worldwide.
The online showcase will spotlight upcoming and recently released titles, including those featured during The MIX’s in-person Fall Showcase at PAX West last month.
The group’s last broadcast — The MIX Summer Game Showcase 2026 — aired on June 1 as part of Summer Game Fest.
This time around, the showcase will highlight more than 60 indie games available on PC and console. Additionally, Tim Schafer, Greg Miller, David Lucio, and Akeem Lawanson will emcee the online event.
According to The MIX, Friday’s broadcast will include brand-new game announcements, highly anticipated release-date reveals, and even some deep dives into some of the indie niche’s most anticipated titles.
Viewers will also catch world-premiere announcements and debut trailers for unannounced projects, developer commentary, and comprehensive content updates for indie faves.
The MIX founder Justin Woodward spoke about the event in a news release.
“With over 500 submissions,” Woodward explained, “the team curated the finest indie games for your viewing pleasure. You can expect surprises from some of the very best game developers out there, whether you are already familiar with them or not.”

The MIX Fall Game Showcase Steam sale event goes live on Friday, October 16, at around 8 a.m. PT/11 a.m. ET. The Steam lineup will feature new and upcoming indie games from across this year’s in-person and digital MIX showcases.
